A Very Tevis Haunted House Geo SCAREfest!
The Tevis Clan has a yearly haunted house in Oak Hills. Parking is free. Entrance is free. This event is free. Does it get any better than that?
The formal event will be from 8:00-9:00 PM, but the haunted house runs much later than that! Meet-up in the parking lot to sign in as attending the haunted house event! If you have any spooky deserts to share with other hungry souls, be sure to bring them. Spooky costumes are also optional!
Every year presents here a new creepy layout. The actors change. The lighting changes. Heck, the sounds and scares change too! This is one haunted house that gives the pay for play haunted houses a serious run for their money! BE SURE TO SEE THE ACTUAL HAUNTED HOUSE WEB-PAGE FOR VIDEO, ETC!
The route into the property is clearly marked by signs from the paved streets onto the dirt road. Any car, truck, broom or hearse can make the short dirt segment to the parking area no problem. The driving directions link above on this cache page are perfect except that Whitehaven is your last direction. You will be directed by signs to turn off from Whitehaven directly to the parking lot on your way in. See the official haunted house map here.
You may wish to come early enough to cache your way in from I-15.. The neighboring two stage multi on the Cajon Summit Trail is highly recommended! If you get in your skull to do the half-mile loop trail, bring a flash-light, just in case.
Not to worry, a younger kids version of the haunted house which is slightly less scary is available upon request…
This year will be the first time the haunted house is also a geocaching event. There will be potentially an event-related give-away of a yet-to-be-determined nature. There will also be original caches released nearby and some new original types of travel-bugs that will be released for their maiden voyage to any Body who wants to take them!
