Will there still be a forum?

Hi Alice,
Yes there will. I’m trying to import the old data base. There is a lot I still need to do. The site will grow a little at a time, so keep checking back.

I am the manager of the gift bar area in the new Sportsman’s Warehouse in Victorville, Ca. I decided it would be good to try out using a GPS to know what this whole “geocashing” thing was all about. So, I gave it a try and went out to find some in our area. Though I only did it for one day, I’m already hooked! Does your club meet regularly? I would love to be a part of it. I can even offer for the club to meet here in our store and provide snacks and beverages if needed. Let me know.

Hi Barbara,
Welcome to Geocaching. We are not a club as such, but do meet on the trail or at local events. This site was made to share stories, plan events, or ask questions about Geocaching. I’m not as active as I would like to be right now, but your offer sounds very inviting. The site will expand in the future when I have more time. Keep in touch and watch for updates.

Dear Barbara,
Your name looks like I know it from some where. The best way to get to know other geocachers is to check out the up coming events on geocaching.com
I know that there is an event this weekend up at Big Bear. The webpage is:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=3c8268d2-e575-4ec9-b8d4-eae3c7c322f4
go join the fun. There are other events in the area that go with this event. Have fun,
HappyFrog (& gang)

Hello all,
It’s been a while since anyone posted. Is this site still active? We are just trying to get back into geocaching. Trying to find others or events in the Apple Valley area.

I live in the Ridgecrest, Randsburg desert area(s) depending on time of year(season) I’m seeing all kinds of geo caches in & around these areas. I’m starting to grab a few, & also post a few. I ride a quad(senior citizen) & would like to “partner up” w/someone in the area. I do prospect during one part of the year, & geo caching whenever I get a chance(which is often, now) If anyone would like to start a “team effort” contact me.
